Having decided to do what we can to promote worldwide understanding of human unity and equality, we have printed and distributed over 750,000 “ONE HUMAN FAMILY” stickers in 95 countries so far. They are always free.

Everyone has to stand for something; and in Key West, Florida, we believe that we are all ONE HUMAN FAMILY. The phrase ONE HUMAN FAMILY was coined on the first day of the new millennium, January 1, 2000. Initially, I paid for the printing of all the stickers and postage out of my own pocket. On October 17th, 2001, Mayor Jimmy Weekley and the entire Key West City Commission voted unanimously to proclaim ONE HUMAN FAMILY the official philosophy of Key West. It means we believe all people everywhere are entitled at birth to equal rights, dignity and respect; and lives that are free from prejudice, discrimination, harassment or violence. Since then, it has also been adopted by Monroe County, Florida, the Conch Republic and loving people all around the world. It also has been used as the centerpiece of diversity training by schools, universities, clubs, and businesses such as Tropicana Orange Juice, Carnival Cruise Lines, General Electric Leasing, General Motors AFL-CIO, the Simon Weisenthal Centers for Tolerance, the Holocaust Museums, Rotary Clubs of Florida, Clemson University, and most recently by the city of Baltimore, Maryland. Stickers have been sent worldwide, from Tibet to Pago Pago, and from London to Sydney, Australia.

As the demand for stickers grew, a wide variety of individuals and groups have stepped forward to keep the project funded through donations. Contributions are not required; but if you want to make one, send it to One Human Family Foundation. You should know that we are a rare non-profit group, where 100% of all funds are used to print and distribute more free stickers around the world. Everyone involved in the foundation is a volunteer and nobody is paid for their participation in any way.

Our modern world tells us daily - and incorrectly - how ‘separate’ we all are. From politics to religion to sports and entertainment, we’re told it’s “us against them”. Powerful leaders promote this concept, allowing them to keep control of their people through monotheism, nationalism, racism, sexism, classism, blind patriotism, homophobia and all other kinds of divisive rhetoric. Examine closely the true motives of anyone who tells you it’s “us against them”, because the truth is that there is no “them”. There never was and never will be... there is just “us”, and we’re all on this planet together as ONE HUMAN FAMILY. The sooner we start guiding our lives and our governments based on the unity and equality of all people, the sooner the world can live in peace.

We all know the inherent truth of our human unity, and we know everyone deserves equal measures of respect and dignity. So, the genie of human equality is now out of the bottle, and oppression is finally unacceptable worldwide. We hope this inspires you to start today to do whatever YOU can to continue the momentum of a good idea. We encourage everyone who wants to assist in spreading these words of hope to people everywhere will join the long overdue and unstoppable movement to end inhumanity.

You can:

  • Use these bumperstickers on vehicles, mail boxes, notebooks or anywhere else they can be seen.  (Send a self-addressed, first class-stamped business size envelope to the address below for 5 free stickers!)
  • Ask for bulk stickers for you to distibute free through businesses or groups in your area.  (Just send some LOOSE first class stamps to help us cover postage costs.  Make sure to mention how many stickers you want and include your return address.)
  • Get your home town to adopt ONE HUMAN FAMILY as their official motto, just as Key West has.
  • Include these stickers in letters or holiday cards to friends and loved ones.  Tell them what it means to you.
  • Come up with your own idea on how to increase awareness of the concept of ONE HUMAN FAMILY and help it to get people thinking in your part of the world
  • Invite those you love to show their support for human unity and equality in any way they can think of.
